The LGBTQ TA Center’s new introductory resource provides a 1-page overview of trauma, resilience, and the elements of a trauma-informed approach. It includes specific examples of how trauma may impact LGBTQ people, both as individuals and as members of a shared culture. This resource is written for behavioral health service providers, but it is perfect to share with ALL who would benefit from a basic understanding of trauma from an LGBTQ lens: service providers, program administrators and staff, LGBTQ clients and their families, etc.

The resources, news, and content expressed on this website do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions, or policies of the Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS), the CRDP LGBTQ TA Center, or the California Department of Public Health’s Office of Health Equity.
