This brief offers an overview of research-based frameworks and recommendations that substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health providers can use to support LGBTQ clients and communities. This brief includes a discussion of how to make mental health services culturally responsive and includes discussion of men who have sex with men (MSM),women who have sex with women (WSW), and others in the spectrum.
