When the Family Acceptance Project (FAP) launched their first research on LGBTQ youth and families 20 years ago, they found that families have a compelling impact on their LGBTQ children’s health and well-being. This website offers a map of national programs and facilities, research on the role of families in promoting well-being for LGBTQ young people, and evidence-based resources.

The resources, news, and content expressed on this website do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions, or policies of the Center for Applied Research Solutions (CARS), the CRDP LGBTQ TA Center, or the California Department of Public Health’s Office of Health Equity.
